anonymous gallery and Bicycle Film Festival are proud to announce the 2010 Joyride Art Show, the annual bicycle-inspired group exhibition that brings together internationally established and emerging artists over a shared passion for the bicycle.
The BFF has been creating connections between art and the bike community since the first exhibition in 2000, in the basement of Anthology Film Archives. The first official Joyride show was in 2005, and was born from the urgency of creating a visual manifestation of one of the most powerful and culturally relevant emerging movements of this decade: the urban bike movement.
Joyride travels around the world every year from its starting point in New York, and has including stops in Los Angeles, Austin, San Francisco, Paris, London and Milan. In each city along the way the show picks up artists from the local art and bike communities, catalyzing the locationʼs unique energy in a visual tribute to bicycles.
